From Austin to Arlington with LUV

Give me any reason to sneak off to Austin and I am SO in....but being able to watch two amazing kids play in the 1st round of the NCAA tourney along with seeing friends...well SO THERE! Haha...

First up AZ vs MI State...despite Arizona's loss I am so proud of Libero Candace Nicholson! Ex LBC/Mizuno stud...

Next up was TX vs. TX State. So love watching Haley play for UT. AMAZING player + amazing woman. Blessed to know her FOR SURE! PS TEXAS won in 3...

Even though it was a short trip to Austin...it was well worth it.

Back to Arlington I went so that I could be at the TAV Casino party. Ahhh...such a fun event! And to watch Ping deal cards...all I can say is PRICELESS!!

Well, since Greensboro things have moved pretty quickly...and I have not been this happy in a long time! Of course with extreme happiness comes extreme sadness...BUT anyways....after Greensboro came Disney Holidays, Cincinnati, & Dallas...ah yea....and if ya did not know already, me and Sarbear will be relocating to Dallas, Texas next April!! So on to the pics and videos....hehe

I have really come to the conclusion that I NEED A VAKAY EVERY FEW MONTHS to stay sane in my world. And all I can say about this trip was that...I WAS SPOILED ROTTEN. A Flashback

So when I was asked to come in and interview for the UTPA Head Women's Vball position, I jumped at the opportunity to visit my alma mater and former living area. Then I thought to myself "Why"? But, in the long run, I ended up coming to South Texas. The funniest thing about yesterday was pulling into the parking lot of the place I stayed on my recruiting trip 10 years ago. CRAZY! The Embassy Suites, McAllen. Talk about funny flashbacks! And for anyone interested, I start the interviews tonight, over dinner. Who knew!

So, I am off to Texas today. Yipee Ki yea..haha. Seriously, I am off to Texas today to go to UTPA for 2 days. And even though my "valley family" will be in Austin until tomorrow, it should be fun. Once I get back I will be running with my head cut off until Sept when the San Fran AVP stop is completed....good times right?

How do you deal....

Do you ever wonder why things happen to you or around you? Well, that is kinda the way I have been feeling the last couple of days. Besides feeling completely lost and ready to scream everyday on my drive home...I am going to Texas to see my alma mater on Sat. to see if I would be interested in being the new Head Coach. CRAZY! And to top it off, we hired this new girl, at the AVP, WHO IS FRICKING COOL (Jen if you are reading this...hahaha...awesome)!
